FIRST
You look at the walls.
THEN
You start looking at how people look
at the walls.
LATER
A folded floor plan becomes soft at the edges.
A gallery card appears in your pocket.
A name is typed into Notes with one letter missing.
BY 5 PM
The tote has become a minor archive.
The water bottle is suddenly the most
valuable object in the building.
And one image — not necessarily the largest, newest or most expensive — keeps returning after everything around it has started to blur.
